The problem we solve
"Many CSI programmes fund one-off events that look good in the annual report — but don't shift behaviour."
Communities remain caught in cycles of unemployment, substance abuse and broken family structures. Not from lack of goodwill — but from lack of structured, accredited, follow-through training.
Bright Impact in collaboration with Brightstar Lifestyle closes that gap.

What partners say
20 years of proving it works
"Bright Star came to us when we needed a tool to transform the youth in rural and urban communities. Their programme is suitable for all audiences — teens, youth, leaders, ex-inmates. The programme helped participants discover their brilliant self through realising their life purpose, values and self-worth."
— BrightStar community facilitator partner
"I have been working with Bright Star for about 9 years and have personally benefitted enormously from the range of programmes and workshops. As a network of pregnancy help organisations, we have also partnered with Bright Star to equip and build leaders in our network. It is a privilege to work with such an innovative and professional organisation."
— BrightStar network partner (9+ years)
"I am pleasantly surprised with the course (BrightStar Life) and how my colleagues (who are functioning on quite a high level & are therefore often reluctant to participate in such courses) participated and reacted. I found the course very stimulating and thought provoking. It forces one to go back to basics, reflect on ME and what is essential."

Funder FAQ
Questions funders ask first

Is Bright Impact NPC a legitimate registered organisation?

Yes. Bright Impact NPC is registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) under registration number 2025/773253/08, governed by the Companies Act 71 of 2008. The organisation is applying for NPO status with the Department of Social Development, and PBO / Section 18A status with SARS.

Can I claim a Section 18A tax deduction on my donation?

Bright Impact NPC is currently applying for PBO and Section 18A approval from SARS. Once granted, donations will qualify for a tax deduction under the Income Tax Act. Please contact us for the latest status before finalising your CSI commitment.

Does funding Bright Impact contribute to my B-BBEE scorecard?

Funding accredited training delivered to previously disadvantaged individuals can contribute to your B-BBEE Skills Development and Social and Enterprise Development (SED) scorecard elements. The exact contribution depends on your sector code and turnover. We will provide all documentation your verification agent requires.

What is the relationship between Bright Impact and BrightStar Lifestyle?

Bright Impact NPC is an independent Non-Profit Company. BrightStar Lifestyle is a separate, commercially registered company that serves as Bright Impact's strategic training partner — providing SETA-accredited programme content, facilitation materials and a facilitator network with 20+ years of experience.

Is there a minimum funding amount?

There is no fixed minimum. Bright Impact works with funders of all sizes — from a single workshop sponsorship to multi-year programme partnerships. We will tailor a proposal to your available budget, preferred geography and impact objectives.

How do I know my money is being used correctly?

Funders receive a pre-delivery programme plan, regular progress updates during delivery, and a post-delivery M&E report covering beneficiary numbers, outcomes and financial accountability. Bright Impact is governed by a six-member board with full oversight of all finances.

How long does it take to get started?

Once a funding agreement is in place, programme delivery can typically begin within four to eight weeks, depending on community access, facilitator availability and venue logistics. Book a discovery call and we will give you a realistic timeline.
